Booking Behavior
When off, appointments booked via WhatsApp/web start as Pending until you confirm them. When on, they're confirmed immediately, no action needed.
Sends the patient a WhatsApp message before their appointment with buttons to Confirm, Cancel or Reschedule. Their reply shows on the dashboard.

When a returning WhatsApp patient books again within this many days of their last visit, it's booked as a Follow-up; otherwise as a Re-consultation.

Sent instead of a booking link when a patient with an existing record asks to book for someone new. Leave blank to use a generic default message that includes your clinic phone number automatically.
Privacy & Access
Patients typing a doctor's name won't find this clinic. Direct booking links still work.
Access code (optional)
If set, patients must enter this code in WhatsApp before booking — even with a direct link. Leave blank to disable.
Online Payments (Paymob)
Let patients pay the full visit price online when booking. Uses your own Paymob account.
Fill in all four fields below to switch online payment on. Until then patients pay at the clinic.
Setup guide — where to find each value
You need a live Paymob merchant account. Menu labels vary slightly between account types — the values are the same.
1. Public Key and Secret Key
In the Paymob dashboard open Settings → Account Info. Copy the Public Key (starts with pk_ or egy_pk_) and the Secret Key (starts with sk_ or egy_sk_) into the fields below. The Secret Key is shown once — if you have lost it, generate a new one.
2. Card Integration ID
Open Developers → Payment Integrations. Use the ID of your online card integration — a number, not the integration name. If you have several (card, wallet, instalments), take the card one; that is what the checkout will charge.
3. HMAC Secret
Also under Settings → Account Info, labelled HMAC. Every callback Paymob sends is signed with it, and a payment is only marked paid when that signature checks out — so a wrong HMAC means patients are charged but their booking stays unpaid.
4. Paste these two URLs into Paymob
In Developers → Payment Integrations, edit your card integration and set both callbacks:
Transaction processed callback (server-to-server)
This is what actually marks a booking paid. Paymob calls it directly, so it must be set even though patients never see it.
Transaction response callback (where the patient lands)
Returns the patient to your booking page with a confirmation screen after they pay.
5. Save, enable, then test
Save the four values, tick Enable online payment, and make one real booking that you pay yourself. If the booking does not turn Paid within a minute of a successful payment, the HMAC Secret or the processed callback URL is wrong.
Patients are charged the visit price set under Schedule → Default Visit Prices. A visit priced at zero is never sent to checkout.

Letterhead & Background
Design the letterhead, footer, background and watermark printed on your prescriptions.
Prescription Templates
Reusable medication lists (e.g. Tonsillitis) you can insert into a prescription, then edit freely.
Drug groups
Group drugs you swap between (e.g. NSAIDs with the brand names you use). In a medicine box, tap ⇄ to see the similar drugs, or the list icon in an empty box to pick from a group. A default dose is filled in when you pick.
Team
Practitioners and staff in your clinic. Each person gets a role, and a staff member can be limited to specific practitioners.
