In the Paymob dashboard open Settings → Account Info. Copy the Public Key (starts with pk_ or egy_pk_) and the Secret Key (starts with sk_ or egy_sk_) into the fields below. The Secret Key is shown once — if you have lost it, generate a new one.

Open Developers → Payment Integrations. Use the ID of your online card integration — a number, not the integration name. If you have several (card, wallet, instalments), take the card one; that is what the checkout will charge.

Also under Settings → Account Info, labelled HMAC. Every callback Paymob sends is signed with it, and a payment is only marked paid when that signature checks out — so a wrong HMAC means patients are charged but their booking stays unpaid.

In Developers → Payment Integrations, edit your card integration and set both callbacks:

This is what actually marks a booking paid. Paymob calls it directly, so it must be set even though patients never see it.

Returns the patient to your booking page with a confirmation screen after they pay.

Save the four values, tick Enable online payment, and make one real booking that you pay yourself. If the booking does not turn Paid within a minute of a successful payment, the HMAC Secret or the processed callback URL is wrong.

Patients are charged the visit price set under Schedule → Default Visit Prices. A visit priced at zero is never sent to checkout.
